Wednesday 29th February

Tickets: £4/£2

 You've been Trumped

Thursday 1st March 7.30 pm £5/ £3

A documentary about the David and Goliath story when group of Scottish homeowners took on billionaire celebrity tycoon Donald Trump as he buys up one of Scotland’s last wilderness areas to build a golf resort.

After the Scottish Government overturns its own environmental laws to give Trump the green light, the stage is set for an extraordinary summer of discontent, as the bulldozers spring into action, water gets shut off and the police descend on the home owners who, in direct homage to the film Local Hero, refuse to sell their land.

With a stunning score by Sigor Ross frontman Jonsi, this is a rare and revealing glimpse into absolute power on Scottish soil that raises the question: whose rules rule in Scotland today?

Two comedy dramas about guys, friendship and festivals…

Waterproof by Andy Duffy

Alex and Gordon are trying to enjoy a weekend fishing trip. Alex is mouthy, talkative and thrilled with himself, a student whose mobile phone, so he says, contains the number of every good-looking woman in Dundee. So when Gordon throws Alex's mobile phone into the river, things seem about to get nasty.

From Paisley to Paolo by Martin McCardie

Jack was born on the same day and in the same hospital as Paolo Nutini, and he is a huge fan. When reality and fantasy combine, he has to choose between the life he wishes he had, and the one he really has. With his two best friends he sets off in a stolen hearse to see Paolo at a music festival, and nothing will ever be the same for them again.

THURSDAY 3 MAY 2012

7.30pm

They brought the brilliant & funny  "Singin' I'm No A Billy, He's a Tim" to us last year & now they're back with a new show - Passing Places !

Sit back, belt up, and get ready for a dramatic roller coaster ride around Scotland!

Alex and Brian are two local lads, desperate to leave their mundane lives and dead end jobs in Motherwell.

They decide to get out the only way they know how - doing a runner with a prized surfboard owned by Alex`s psychopathic boss.

The only transport available is a "borrowed" worn-out Lada, but they hit the road and head north for Thurso, where the surf is up all year round.......

On the way they meet beautiful girls, strange characters and hippy travellers leading to some late night whisky fuelled, philosophical discussions and romantic encounters.

Between the hilarious, laugh a minute one liners, pin sharp wit and banter, there's a serious undertone which turns a light hearted farce into a moving, thought-provoking wee drama.
